Mission Statement: To influence decisions of Connecticut state government in order to protect retired teachers’ rights and benefits.
The ARTC Political Action Committee endorses candidates on the statelevel, raises and spends money in support of political issues that affect Connecticut’s retired teachers. Among its activities, the ARTC-PAC hosts an annual Meet & Greet for state legislators at the start of each legislative session. Every two years, this committee engages all candidates who are running for election to the state legislature in an election survey. This data is used to consider endorsement of candidates who express support for the issues concerning our pension and health insurance.
