ARTC’s New President
Please join us in welcoming our new Association of Retired Teachers of CT (ARTC) President, Jane Wilson.
Jane dedicated 38 years to teaching in Connecticut. Throughout her career, she served as an instructional leader, team leader, and a member of her principal's advisory committee.
Her excellence in education was recognized when she was named her district's Teacher of the Year and selected as a Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) Outstanding Middle Level Teacher.
She retired from teaching in 2010. In retirement, Jane has remained committed to serving retired educators through the ARTC. She joined the Legislative/Insurance Committee and has served as a co-chair of the Insurance Committee for the past five years. She will be leading our organization as ARTC's new president.
We are fortunate to have Jane's experience, dedication, and leadership guiding ARTC, and we look forward to working with her in this new role.
